The Shortest Waterfall In The World

The river along Bear Creek Trail is a great place for pictures. In the city, there are only a few places to enjoy nature. We are lucky to live near a green space in the city. Wendi and I walk together along Bear Creek Trail. We talk about our life and enjoy each other’s company.

We are not really city people. Wendi is a country girl at heart. She likes horses and open country; she doesn’t like traffice and cars and buildings. I know that life in the city is difficult for her and I love her for living with me here.

I like the city life more than Wendi does, but it’s not my favorite either. I think that people in Denver are dumb, bad drivers and slow. My work necessitates we live in the city for now. Programming is how I make my money. And technology outside of the city is rare. It’s not impossible, but it’s rare.

I don’t know if I can explain it more clearly. I don’t know how to explain how much the green space means to us. In it, we find peace and a place to connect to each other.

So this is the shortest waterfall in the world. But it’s a sign of a refuge against the world.
