A few years ago, I took a photo of a waterfall. The waterfall is west of Colorado Springs under a highway off ramp. It was among my first pictures using an extended exposure; and it was featured on my first photo blog post.
This weekend, my family and I drove down to Colorado Springs for some photos. I knew more about photography now than I did before and I wanted some high-resolution images of the waterfall. Many improvements made for an easier walk along the trail. The last time I was there, the trail was unfinished and rough. More like a hike than a walk.
The pictures are not as good as the first one. To recreate something magical is not easy. But pictures of a waterfalls are never a waste. And in black and white, they look great.
