A Mountain Through A Fountain

As I talked about in the posts the last couple of days (here and here), my family and I drove down to Colorado Springs this past weekend. In addition to the pictures I took at Rainbow Falls, I snagged a couple of pictures of Pikes Peak through the fountain at America the Beautiful Park in downtown Colorado Springs.

There is a pair of obelisks opposite the fountain creating a sort of entry way to the park. At night, they light up with colors that sort of squirm from color to another. I don’t have any pictures of that, since we were there during the day.

I need to plan another trip down there soon to get some photos of Helen Hunt Falls and a few other things I liked to photograph when I lived there.
