Highway 287

Last weekend, Wendi and I drove up to Fort Collins to see a friend of hers. They caught up for a little bit and Wendi bought some beads. When they were finished, we drove north on Highway 287 toward Laramie, Wyoming. I stopped along the way for some photos.

The stripes in the landscape are something of a recurring theme in the area, and look at how blue that sky is. The range of landscapes in Colorado is truly staggering.

I’ve driven that same route when I was over the road. Us 287 thru Laramie is the best entrance to Wyoming.

Definitely, though we came through on I-80 last summer and that wasn’t too bad an entrance to Wyoming either.
