This summer has been wetter and more humid than summers past. That’s good for the countryside, and it’s been amazingly green this year. But in the morning, with the sun low in the sky, the humid air presents some interesting challenges for getting the settings right. I used a neutral density filter on these photos in an attempt to get the humid, sunny air under control.


According to the histogram the above photo is a better photo. But I think the following photo actually came out better, once I adjusted the brightness settings:
