Recycled What?


Just south of where the (killjoy) US Air Force Academy has closed the Front Range Trail, the hiking trail drops down below the railroad tracks about 15 or 20 feet (5-7 meters). Along the trail, re-purposed as part of a retaining wall, are a few rail cars that look as if they were flat cars in their previous lives. Old bits of rail bolted together also serve to keep the train tracks up where they need to be.
