The Shortest Intermodal — BNSF 7210

My daughter had to collect bugs for her science class, and we were out along the railroad tracks doing that when I saw the signal light up. BNSF 7210, a GE ES44DC, led the world’s shortest intermodal train through the Springs. We rarely see intermodal through here, for some reason (or maybe it’s only me). BNSF 1047, a GE DASH-9 44CW follows the lead engine elephant style.
